Drought Night

Parting is heavy...
too heavy to make you feel drowned
so suffocating that you feel yelling at yourself
and save your dying soul
sometimes its her or sometimes its him
no matter how hard you try to suppress it
you just can't hide it from yourself.

You just can't make fool of yourself
You just can't make fool of yourself
Because parting is so freaking hard for yourself...

I am a lame bean
For I know this song has no meaning to you
So what?! I just feel like yelling...
For I am aching inside.

Thank you, it's a real struggle there I feel.
Most of the time, starting a relationship is much easier and faster than ending it. sad

The song does have meaning for me, for I am in a state of perpetual parting with "her".I ache inside too brother, and there's no relief. At all.

“You've gotta dance like there's nobody watching,
Love like you'll never be hurt,
Sing like there's nobody listening,
And live like it's heaven on earth.”

...or a loved one passed on...

All droughts break but the agony of the moment is like eternity, acute and painful at the time but time gifts other opportunities just in the moment nothing helps ease the anxieties of the now.

Good luck and thanks for sharing.
I like Jerry Sinefeld's take on the old "better to have loved than not loved at all."

Jerry's version...

Better to have driven off a cliff than to have never driven at all.

I feel you brother! If we've not all been there yet at some moment in our lives we all will be at some point. But like all things this too shall pass. cool

There's a time to hold tight, and there's a time to relinquish your hold...I say stop futile self-torment, let it go, turn the page, move on, and enjoy life...all else is self-defeating!

This reminded me of my first breakup.

Parting is the most painful stage and I know it is impossible to suppress this emotions. The most painful is that you have to suppress that emotion in front of your loved ones, friends, relatives, other people involved in your life.
Thanks for the poem.
That's bad advice right there. Nothing good can come from suppressing one's emotions.

I know how it feels ...
really cant hide .... emotions sometimes make u .......... sad

To terminate a relationship, have to act like when you sticky off the band aid, you have to do it fast!
